Sending domains & DNS
Authenticate your brand and prove control of the domains you send from.
Add a domain
Use Sending domains in the dashboard. Owner, admin and developer roles can set up domains after workspace approval. Domain names are normalized and globally unique across workspaces, including pending claims.
Publish the exact records
Copy each displayed DNS type, name, and value. The ownership TXT challenge is tenant-specific; authentication records are provided by the email provider. Publish them at the authoritative DNS host and allow propagation before verifying.
Cloudflare or manual setup
When enabled, the Cloudflare setup button prepares a signed Domain Connect link. Review the DNS changes in Cloudflare and approve them there. This action does not verify your domain; return to Notifications and verify after propagation. Other DNS hosts use manual records.
Troubleshooting verification
Check for duplicated zone suffixes in record names, proxied CNAME records, incorrect TXT values, and stale DNS caches. Verification requires both ownership evidence and provider authentication. Do not send until the dashboard reports Verified.
