Versioned email templates
Keep content consistent while your application supplies the context.
Create and edit in the dashboard
A template contains a name, subject, HTML, and optional plain text. Editing creates a new immutable version. Use {{name}} placeholders in your content. Missing variables cause the send to be rejected.
Send a template
Pass template_id, optional template_version, and variables to the notification endpoint. Pin a version when the exact content matters. Values may be strings, numbers, or booleans.

A templates:read key can list or inspect templates. Template creation and editing require a dashboard session with appropriate write access. Use text content alongside HTML for clients that prefer plain text.
